This chocolate sauce passed my daughter’s taste test. The allure may have been honey as sweetener instead of sugar – definitely a plus in her eyes. But I know that would not have been enough for her to actually spoon it on her ice cream. This is the evidence of its merit.
The fact that in addition to wonderful, this sauce was completely a snap to prepare, elevates it to my favorite recipe so far from this best desserts book. I hope I find others, but for now this sauce is the one I will make again and again.
